of NASCAR(tm) racing: claiming a NASCAR(tm)
NEXTEL Cup championship and winning the
Daytona 500. Many -- perhaps most --
drivers will tell you that the latter is
the more difficult of the two. Sam has
immortalized Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s stirring
triumph in this year's Daytona 500 in 'Won
& Done!' The artist spent countless
hours composing this beautifully complex
montage of images that capture the
electricity of Dale Jr.'s greatest victory
with shots of his no. 8 Budweiser Monte
Carlo at speed, and the jubilant
celebration that began immediately
following the checkered flag. The
expression on Dale Jr.'s face when he
crawled out of the car is indicative of
just what a monumental win this was for
him,' Sam said, 'It is an honor to be able
to chronicle such an historic moment. It's
a victory that everyone had been
anticipating from the moment Jr. moved up
to the Cup Series.'
